I lurve music

The inherent problem in doing school work on a computer is that it's soooo easy to get distracted by the Interwebs. I try really hard to get interested in my powerpoint slides about complex lipid metabolism, but YouTube starts silently screaming for my attention. My will is sometimes weak...but I found a good song! It's called "Hotel Song" by Regina Spektor (not "Come Into My World.") All I can say is that my neighbors must either be absent, hard of hearing, or otherwise very patient with my sudden outbursts of sing-alongs.

  1. Hi Candy, I love your scrap scarf! I hope you are almost done with it now. I've started some quick projects, but really have a ton of other things to do. I hate feeling like I want to make all my gifts and then when I don't, inadequate! Next year I'm going to do all my gift-knitting in the summer. (I really don't do that much - I may just make some hats and gloves because the weather makes me want to...for the kids). Anyway, amazed that you're a student, too!

  2. Jane, thanks for the comment. Making gifts in the summer sounds like a great idea :) I hate running out of time to make Christmas gifts, but it almost always happens anyway!
